This newsletter’s headliner has to be the news of our newest bambino cycler . Emily and Tevia are preggers! Take a gander at this beauty already rocking out in perfect form. We cannot wait! When you see the glowing mom, Emily, be sure to rub her belly good wishes and give Tevia a giant hug.
Here’s Tevia’s update: “We got scanned last week from our friend who is a gyno/perinatologist. She spent so much time with us! She even did a 3d scan. She said she can tell us the sex in 2.5 weeks. We heard the heart beat!!! It was beating at 170 bpm. The baby was moving like crazy. She said the baby looked PERFECT!! We saw the brain, spine, fingers, toes. It was amazing!!!”
TRAIN 411…the latest and greatest – September 2009

Greetings!
We have to count our blessings that we are safe and sound from those horrid fires. Can you imagine evacuating from your home (what to take with you?!) and coming back to a charred ruin? Quel horror!!! The minor inconveniences that have touched us here in our locale–the soot blanketing our cars, the extreme heat, the ash cloaking our normally sunny blue skies are bearable. Really, people!
Yet, we have to be mindful that training outdoors can be unhealthy. Self-serving as this sounds, it is wiser to be working out indoors and delay our hikes, runs and sporting events to later in the month when atmospheric conditions are optimal. I know…I haven’t hit a tennis ball in weeks, yet, my training has not stopped. Cycling, weight training and power plating right here at TRAIN continue unabated.
Celebrate Dr J’s bday on September 10th! He loves chicken snacks and plush toys!

Studio SOMA is having a Bollywood Dance Workshop every Thursday at 8pm to 9pm with the people from Slum Dog. If you know of anyone that wants to take this workshop, please contact SOMA at (310) 289-9043. $20 for a single class or $15 per class if they buy four classes.
Feel blessed, value your health and stay fit!
Sincerely,
Mylene

Janet Fitzgerald and her unique take on CYCLE class took the Hamptons by storm and sold out 71-bike classes in minutes! Her east coast tour last month was a smashing success to say the least! I just love it when west-coasters FINALLY teach those east-coasters something! Janet is now spreading her unique gift by hosting a TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOP the weekend ofSeptember 12 & 13 from 12 to 5pm on both days. This workshop is great for students, teachers, and anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of indoor cycling, fitness, or public speaking.
Janet will be going over: Form, Music, Marketing, Ride flow, Inspiring dialog and much much more!!!
The cost of this 2 day workshop is $185. If you have the desire to participate but find yourself feeling a little of the “summer squeeze” please speak with Janet and y’all will work something out. Follow your desire first and the money will come! That’s so Janet!
Anyone who wants to sub Janet’s class in the future will need to have completed this course. O-kay??! Already, the biggest names in our town are already signing up. Truly, teaching CYCLING at TRAIN is becoming the ‘it’ part-time gig!
